Yes you are right, this example is a bit constructed and normally we would not be changing the locales like this. We would be reading the locale when we start the app or “worst case” we would change the language and go on browsing without any problems.

I once thought I needed an impure pipe but after going through that rabbit hole I eventually came back a tad wiser and saw that immutability in my objects was what was lacking.
